These LED mini-boards are a great replacement option for your solid state Bally, Stern, and GamePlan machine.
They work flicker-free on a standard Bally / Stern lamp driver board.
Without the corrosion and contact problems of aged lamp sockets, you can get clean crisp LED insert lighting that will liven up your machine with only a little effort.
These miniature "Piglet" boards come in packs of 20. They snap off easily in your fingers and can be soldered under the play field as a replacement for the traditional lamp socket.
The LEDs used in Tangles Piglet boards are a "Neutral" colour. With a colour temperature of centred at 5000K, they provide
a great white light that is not overly blue nor too yellow.
I have chosen an LED with a larger illumination surface and a wide viewing angle so inserts are evenly lit without
a sharp "hotspot" in the middle.
Notes on the LED Colour / Temperature: I have chosen a broad spectrum LED for this product. This LED is ideally suited
for use behind coloured inserts as it emits colour evenly across the warm and cool spectrum . The Piglett will illuminate
blue, red, yellow, green, purple and white equally well.
Notes on Brightness: I have chosen a modest-to-high brightness level. These LEDs are a good deal brighter than
the light emitted by a standard #44 bulb. They are not however in the "extreme" brightness level. I have designed these
LEDs to provide a satisfying "pop" in both colour and brightness, respectfull of the original machines design.
As always, the components and manufacturing of these boards is of the highest quality. No grey market parts are used in
the manufacture of these boards. The

effective way to make your game pop with colour.
